A Raschel warp knitting machine can typically produce about 1–3 tons of net per 24 hours under stable operating conditions. However, there is no single output figure for every machine or net product. Actual production depends on the machine width, net weight, mesh structure, yarn type, operating speed, working hours, and production efficiency.

For buyers planning a new net factory, calculate output based on the required finished product rather than machine speed alone.

How to Calculate Daily Net Production?

Daily output can be estimated with the following formula:

Daily output (kg) = Working width (m) × Fabric speed (m/min) × Net weight (g/m²) × 60 × Operating hours × Efficiency ÷ 1,000

“Fabric speed” means the actual net take-up speed. It is not the same as the machine’s rpm because different mesh patterns require different numbers of knitting courses.

Does Higher RPM Always Mean More Output?

Not necessarily. A high machine speed can increase production, but RPM alone does not determine how many kilograms of net can be produced.

For example, the Chenye RS-1 Raschel knitting machine is available in working widths from 130 to 260 inches. Depending on the width, its listed speed reaches 800–1,000 rpm. However, a lightweight mosquito net, a knotless fishing net, and a heavy safety net will have very different daily outputs even when produced on the same machine.

A dense or complicated mesh normally requires more knitting courses and may reduce the fabric take-up speed.

What Factors Affect Daily Output?

The main factors include:

1. Machine Working Width

A wider machine produces more square meters of net during each operating hour, provided that other conditions remain similar.

2. Net Weight

Net weight is normally measured in grams per square meter. Heavier net produces more kilograms from the same area, but it may require more yarn and a lower production speed.

3. Mesh Size and Structure

Large, simple mesh structures are generally faster to produce than small, dense or complicated patterns.

4. Yarn Material

HDPE flat yarn, PP yarn, monofilament, multifilament, and other materials require different yarn tensions and machine settings.

5. Operating Efficiency

Yarn changes, machine cleaning, maintenance, pattern adjustments, and unexpected stops reduce effective production time. For factory planning, using an efficiency rate of 80–90% is usually more realistic than assuming uninterrupted production.

How to Get an Accurate Output Estimate

Before selecting a Raschel warp knitting machine, provide the manufacturer with:

· Net application

· Net width and mesh size

· Net weight in g/m²

· Yarn material and yarn specification

· Required daily output

· Planned operating hours
